mary queen of scots

There was a time when kings and queens ruled the land, and this review is about one of them. Queen Mary of Scotland (played by Saoirse Ronan) is a very known woman who was the heir of both England and Scotland throne. Although she was loved (for the most part), not everyone was okay with her being the queen and ruling over the countries.

In the movie, we see how she deals with politics and how she deals with being a queen in a male-dominated world. We also get to see much of queen Elizabeth (Margot Robbie), who was ruling the England throne at that time.

We see a lot of Mary's personal life and how she and her husband were towards each other.

I know this is a very short review compared with my other ones, but I don't have much to say about this film. It was a good movie, but something was missing for me that wasn't included. Maybe, a bit more adventure and fights could've made "Mary Queen of Scots" a bit more exciting to watch for me.

I would also not recommend "Mary Queen of Scots" to anyone under the age of 18. The film included several explicit scenes that should not be shown to minors.
