Was John F. Kennedy actually killed?

Hello everyone! Today, I will be reviewing a pretty unusual book for my website, "Betrayal of a Legend. JFK 1963-1985: A Conspiracy of Treason," written by Megan Jorgensen. As you can understand, the book is about John Fitzgerald Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States who had to stop being president because he was assassinated in 1963. The book that I will be talking about presents a different point of view, the one that isn’t talked about anywhere - that JFK wasn’t actually killed, and that he lived until October 1985, until he was eliminated by the KGB and the CIA. Now, hear me out: I am not a crazy conspiracy theorist who will believe in aliens and stuff that, you know, have a very low chance of being real. However, all the evidence and information provided by the book is absolutely real, not taken out of context, can be double checked, and makes logical sense. Of course, it’s up to you whether you want to believe in what the book says or not, but it’s a good idea to listen to the other side of the story.

"Betrayal of a Legend" is told from several points of view, and according to the author, all the information was collected from her father, who was an officer in the Soviet Military Intelligence Directorate, a political analyst. The official story that the government told the people is that on the 22nd of november, 1963, at 12:38pm, Air Force One with the POTUS John Kennedy landed in Dallas, Texas. At 1:30pm, as the presidential motorcade was headed off to the city, 3 gunshots were fired in 5.9 seconds, out of which one hit the president in the head. So, the president is rushed to the hospital, and half an hour later, is pronounced dead. Because of this national emergency, Lyndon Johnson was sworn in as the 36th President of the United States. During all these events, US ex-marine Lee Harvey Oswald is detained by the police, shoots a local patrolman, and is quickly accused of killing the President. Three tramps, photographed by several journals, were also detained, released 4 days later, and then were claimed to disappear.

There are many discrepancies in the official version, and I will go through some of them. But aside from the author, many journalists, experts and politicians at the time picked up on the attack (that instantly became the topic of many arguments and gossip) and accused investigators of concealing information. There were just too many inconsistencies in the story for the public. For example, according to an article from the LIFE from February 21st, 1964, it is claimed that Lee Harvey Oswald did not have any powder traces on his hands. Powder traces, by the way, are always there for at least 24 hours after you shoot from a gun. That means that Oswald obviously can’t be the assassin, if this fact is true! Immediately though, reading further, it is claimed that it was definitely Oswald who shot the police officer and the President. That’s just impossible and self contradictory, but yet this article set the standard for all JFK articles, because many considered it to be "the official Oswald chronology".

Also, it is impossible to shoot three times in 5.9 seconds, A rifle takes longer than that to reload, and it would be at least 7 seconds. I mentioned the three tramps earlier in the video, and I’ll mention them again. They actually didn’t disappear, as everyone claims they did. It was pretty easy to track all three of them and their movements after the assassination. I am not sure why the media would lie about their disappearance. It has also been discovered that Jacqueline Kennedy, the former First Lady, travelled to and around Argentina just one month after the death of JFK. Basically, this was her first move after the death of her husband.

These are all just examples of inconsistencies that the book describes in more detail. There are a lot more of them, and this video would be a documentary if I described all of them. I think the book is really interesting to read because it explores the other point of view, the one that is almost never discussed - that the President survived the assassination. The evidence is there too, so it can’t really be classified as fiction. It’s worth reading it in your free time, check it out!
