Science Fair of 2019 was amazing in many ways for me. First of all, it was fun and very educational. I realized that there were so many topics to think about out there! For example, I never thought of it myself, but hmmm... can mealworms eat styrofoam?
As it is my first experience in participating in the Science Fair, I can boldly say it was great. Definitely, I will go next year!
The Marangoni effect is a flow formed in a liquid because of surface tension. The flow moves from the points of lower level of surface tension to the points of higher level. The effect was first discovered by a scientist James Thomson in 1855, but was called after an Italian scientist Karlo Marangoni who studied the effect a decade later.
