Red Queen and Glass Sword

This is the review of the first 2 parts of the series called Red Queen. There are 2 books in the series - Red Queen and Glass Sword. It is a very exciting series that my friend recommended me to read. Thank you, friend, very cool. The author is Victoria Aveyard who, saying honestly, wasn't very famous before publishing the book. Red Queen became a bestseller. It was released in February, 2015 and Glass Sword came after it in 2016. There came other 2 books in the series, but I haven't read them yet. I guess I will just review the first 2 books then. The plot is not very simple, but you can still understand it fairly well without having to reread some parts. Also, there are some pretty good plot twists that spice everything up. The books don't end well though, it is a warning. The Universe in the series is the world where people with red blood like us, Reds, fight people with Silver blood that have special abilities, such as controlling fire, water, minds, being invulnerable, etc. The Reds want to fight Silvers, because Silvers enslave them. The real plot twist here is that Mare Barrow, the main character, Red by blood, has superpowers - she can produce energy. She finds this out when she is taken from her family away to the Royal Palace of Silvers. Who may know where her powers may bring her? Well, except me and other 407,297 people. Anyways, I have a theory that I would like to share with you, my friends. In the book, we have Silverbloods with superpowers and Redbloods, who don't have them. What if we are the Redbloods, children of who survived? What if there are no Silvers because our ancestors killed them all? What if that is a hint of how the series ends? We will all eventually see.
