Lion King. I would be lying by telling you that it is a new movie because it isn't. Lion King of 2019 is a remake of an old movie of 1994. I haven't watched the old version so everything has been new to me. But I have watched several movie review both from Russian and from English-speaking YouTubers and resources, and I have noticed that they look very similar. Copying someone else's joke: it is like the animators put together the original movie in their editor and drew it out but with a different quality resolution. Which is probably what actually happened, let's get real.
The voice actors' names are very recognizable, you have probably heard of some of their names. Beyonce was Nalo, Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino played Simba, James Earl Jones made a comeback as Mufasa again. The producer was Don Hanh, he also made the Maleficent of 2014.

The lion, who also happens to be the king of everything light lies upon, is called Mufasa. He is a great king and has a child, the main character, called Simba and a brother with villain-like characteristics Scar. Scar is jealous of Mufasa and the fact that he is not king. So he goes on and risks his nephew's life and almost kills him. I suppose many of you know what happens next, since 90% of the movie's audience already watched the 1994 movie.
The technical aspect of the movie is great, 11 out of 10. The CGI and animation of Lion King is so realistic that when I told my friend that it was all drawn, she didn't believe me at once! I think that even if the movie was not unique, it still was pretty amazing from the technical point of view. It didn't feel like "omg, what the heck did I just watch?".
Lion King was a very heart-warming experience for me. It really showed me that everything and everyone has a purpose in life and that although Timon and Pumbaa say otherwise, they are not right here. Sorry guys. Great songs you had there by the way.
