The Truth is a Cave in the Black Mountains (Neil Gaiman)

This is a story about a man who wanted to go to the Cave in the Black Mountains because he heard the legends that told about all the treasures, mostly gold, stored there. He is a short strong man because he is half-Western and he had a daughter that died of murder. This man takes a guide with him. You may say:"Oh yeah, typical story, they get to the cave, fight all the monsters and go back home as rich men". But not everything is that simple! The cave doesn't have monsters guarding it, it has something worse. The person that takes the gold out of there is going to be unhappy. Murder will be easy to commit, family will not have any value, little beautiful details will seem boring. The real plot-twist in the story is the ending itself. The ending is worth it, guys.

Unbelief (Michael Marshall Smith)

This is a very short story about a mysterious man who has a lot of power and probably is a very bad person and about an even more mysterious man whose life is ruined. So the second man got his life ruined because of the first man. Now he wants to kill him. And no, the story is not about people who can't reason with each other. It is about keeping personal and professional life apart. Quite a short story, and maybe there are too many understatements, but still makes you think a bit.

Juvenal Nyx (Walter Mosley)

Juvenal Nyx is a quite inappropriate story for little kids, like many other stories I read, though. Anyways, it is ok. There is this man that always wins at debates and he is very into politics. He meets a Romanian woman and they instantly fall for each other. Later, it turns out she is a vampire and she starts drinking his blood as a sign of love for him. And as it usually happens with vampires, that is how the man became a vampire. His new name is Juvenal Nyx, which means the Child of the Night, I think. I found his ways of describing and giving life value very interesting. You guys should all read this story.

Therapist (Jeffery Deaver)

Therapist is the name of the story. It is about a therapist Martin Kobel. This therapist is a professional at finding and treating 'nemes' - bodies of harmful energy that cause people to commit different types of harmful actions. In a cafe called Starbucks he meets Annabelle Young - a teacher, who he believes, has a neme. He is so concerned about her students that to help her, he stabs her to death. In the court, we get to see if Martin is insane or not. This is just creepy. You never know who decides to'help' you and how. Beware, ladies!

The Cult of the Nose (Al Sarrantonio)

This is the last story for the video and it has a very interesting name - The Cult Of the Nose. Intriguing, right? Actually, I didn't understand this story. Basically, this man has a quite difficult life, he fought in war and it wasn't just all happiness for him. He then collects some photos of people with fake noses. He found more and more of pictures of people with fake noses. He thought of himself as a genius. In the end, I was still confused. Can someone explain to me the ending? I understand that the cult of the nose doesn't actually exist, but what the heck happened?
