Mary Poppins Returns is a very exciting sequel of the Mary Poppins series. It came out in December, 2018 and was a good Christmas present by Disney for all fans and admirers. It had many famous actors such as Emily Blunt, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Meryl Streep, Colin Firth and others. The style of a movie is very interesting. It has some 2D animation, music parts where everyone starts dancing and it was quite fun to watch. I don't get why Rotten Tomatoes gave this movie 77%. Why don't people like CGI? It is absolutely fine, this is not some non-fiction movie. In my opinion, Mary Poppins Returns is a nice modern sequel of the Mary Poppins series.
The action takes place in London, years after Mary Poppins was gone. The Banks children that are now grown up are in debt to the bank. Because they haven't paid their loan out to their bank, they have to leave the house. Which is sad, because they would not have anywhere to go to. That is until Mary Poppins comes in. What is she going to do? Is she going to help the family? You will find out!
In the movie I really liked the fact that Mary Poppins taught kids important lessons in fun ways. I am not saying that parents should all be like that, because Mary Poppins used magic in some cases and then, it is not really possible to dance complicated dances for the first time just by looking at other people. But that is a quite nice way to teach kids something they will remember after a long period of time.
