Casa Loma castle is a must-place for those who want to explore museums and are in Canada! This castle is not very ancient, it was built a bit more than 100 years ago (1914) for a very rich family of Pelatts. It has a very curious and complex architecture. An interesting fact I found was that when the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was released, the castle was temporarily transformed into Hogwarts. Many books and movies are inspired by/about the castle. Also, Casa Loma is the Hill House in Spanish.
Though the building was built in 1914, the Pelatts only lived there for 9 years. In 1923, the castle was taken from them because of unpaid taxes and the building remained empty of people for a few years. In early 1930s, the investors made the castle a luxurious hotel mostly for wealthy Americans.
